TARTAMARE

The tartAmare Association was founded in September 2016 by the will of the staff of volunteers who love nature, the sea, environmental conservation and scientific dissemination, and are also dedicated to education and respect for nature.
It is a non-profit association that operates in the Tuscan territory, in agreement with the municipality of Grosseto, inserted in the Network of the Tuscany Region, in order to protect and enhance the natural resources and environments, focusing its activities on the safeguard of the species of fauna and flora associated with marine-coastal environments.

 In particular, the Association deals with the rehabilitation and care of sea turtle specimens found in difficulty in the fishing nets or stranded and assists in all the phases ranging from nesting to hatching and the entry into the sea of ​​the hatchlings of any nests laid from this animal in Tuscany.

The operational headquarters of the Association is located in Marina di Grosseto (GR), where the sea turtle recovery, care and rehabilitation center is currently growing.

For every sale of products with a Sea Turtle, 15% of net profits will go to the organziation tartAmare.
